Was going to suggest you add some Mary Stewart to your mix of vintage fiction and there you go. Recently learned of two of her later romantic thrillers I had not read, so just picked up Rose Cottage, So far less vigorous than her earlier ones that I loved when younger.
Oh, exciting! I have “Touch Not the Cat” handy, I’ll try to join in before the week is over 🙂
